अधोबिंदु

खगोलीय पिण्ड का वह बिंदु जो ऊर्ध्वाकर रूप मे किसी प्रेक्षण स्थान के बिल्कुल नीचे होता है । यह रेखा गुरूत्व वेक्टर (gravity vector) होती है और उसके शीर्ष को शिरोबिंदु (zenith) कहते हैं ।

The point of the celestial sphere vertically & below a place of observation. This line is gravity vector and its vertex is known as zenith.
