नार्डिक प्रक्षेप

जे. बार्थोलोमियू के द्वारा प्रतिपादित एक विशेष प्रकार का मानचित्र प्रक्षेप जो वास्तविक तिर्यक क्षेत्र प्रक्षेप कहलाता है । इसका उपयोग यूरोप तथा अंधमहासागर आर्कटिक महासागर एवं हिन्द महासागर के मार्गों को निरूपित करने के लिये किया गया । इसमें मुख्य अक्ष 45° उत्तरी अक्षाँश की स्पर्श करने वाला वृहत वृत है तथा गौण ग्रीनविच याम्योत्तर है ।

A projection designed by J. Barthalomew to represent oblique regions like Europe and route across the Atlantic, Arctic and Indian Ocean true to their areas, the major axis is a great circle touching 45° N. and the lesser axis the greenwich meridian.
