Magnetic bearing

चुम्बकीय दिक्मान

किसी विशिष्ट बिन्दु से एक वस्तु की दिशा जो एक क्षैतिज कोण के रूप में व्यक्त होती है और चुम्बकीय उत्तर से दक्षिणावर्त मापी जाती है ।

The direction of an object from a point expressed as a horizontal angle measured clockwise from magnetic north.

रेखा का चुम्बकीय दिक्मान

किसी रेखा का चुम्बकीय दिक्मान वह कोण है, जो चुम्बकीय उत्तर के सन्दर्भ में 360° तक दक्षिणावर्त मापा जाता है ।

The magnetic bearing of a line is the angle which is measured from the magnetic north upto 360°.

चुम्बकीय दिक्मान

भू - पृष्ठ पर किसी स्थान के भौगोलिक याम्योत्तर एवं चुम्बकीय याम्योत्तर के मध्य पाया जाने वाला एक कोणीय अन्तर, जो भौगोलिक उत्तर के संदर्भ में पूर्व अथवा पश्चिम की ओर व्यक्त किया जाता है । इसे चुम्बकीय दिशान्तर भी कहते हैं ।

The angle at any point on the earth's surface between the magnetic needle of a compass (pointing to the magnetic pole and indicating the magnetic meridian) and true north (or the geographical meridian), expressed in degrees east and west of ture north. It is also known as magnetic variation.

उस ऊर्ध्वाधर तल की दिशा जो किसी स्थान पर चुम्बकीय उत्तर और दक्षिण को मिलाता है ।
