बड़े पैमाने का एक मानचित्र जो भूसंपदा के भागों को प्रदर्शित करता है । यह शब्द सामान्यतः बड़े पैमाने के अन्य विशेष प्रकार के मानचित्रों के लिए भी प्रयुक्त होता है जिसका सर्वमान्य मापक 1: 4000 निश्चित किया गया है ।

A large scale map that shows the divisions of estate. This word is generally used for other types of large scale maps whose scale is fixed as 1: 4000

एक प्रकार का प्रक्षेप जिसका विकास बी. जे. एस. काहिल महोदय ने एक अष्टफलक से किया है । इस प्रेक्षप मे उत्तरी गोलार्द्ध आमतौर पर ध्रुवीय प्रक्षेप में प्रदर्शित किया जाता है तथा दक्षिणी महाद्वीपों को तारक सदृश्य गौणांगो के रूप में जोड़ा जाता है । यह प्रक्षेप समक्षेत्र, यथाकृतिक अथवा नोमोनिक हो सकता है ।

A type of projection developed by B.J.S. Cahill from an Octahedron. On this projection the northern hemisphere is usually shown in a polar projection, and the southern continents are star-like appendages. This projection can be equal area orthomorphic or Gnomonic.

Topographical maps drawn on the scale of 1: 256000 prepared by Napolean's engineers. In this series were included, besides France, parts of Italy, Germany and Austria.

परिशुद्ध त्रिभुजन पर आधारित वे स्थलाकृतिक मानचित्र जिनका प्रकाशन सर्वप्रथम सीज़र फ्रैंकाइस कैसिनी (1714-1784) ने किया था । ये मानचित्र 1: 86400 के माप पर तैयार किये गये थे । कैसिनी के पुत्र ने उन्हें सन् 1889 में अंतिमरूप दिया था ।

Topographic maps based on accurate Triangulation and first published by Caesar francois Cassini (1714- 1784). They were prepared on a scale of 1: 86400 and later on completed by his son in 1889.

1: 1000000 के मापक्रम पर बनी मानचित्र सीरीज जिसमें अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मान्यताओं के अनुसार विश्व के समस्त स्थल क्षेत्रों को निरूपित किया जाता है ।
