प्लेट कैरी प्रक्षेप

यह एक साधारण असंदर्श बेलनाकार प्रक्षेप है जिसमें अक्षांश रेखाएं क्षैतिज और देशान्तर ऊर्ध्वाधर होती हैं । इसमें दिखाए गये क्षेत्र के मध्य के निकट की मानक आक्षांश रेखा 2 cos lat / meridian interval सूत्र द्वारा विभक्त की जाती है ।

A simple non perspective cylindrical projection in which the latitudes are horizontal and longitudes are vertical straight lines. In this projection the standard parallel is near the centre of the depicted area and is divided according to 2 cos lat formula / meridian interval

एक मानचित्र प्रक्षेप जिसमें स्पर्शी तल ग्लोब को ध्रुव पर छूता है । इसमें देशान्तर रेखाएं अरीय सीधी रेखाएं और अक्षांश रेखाएं संकेन्द्री वृत होती हैं । परन्तु अक्षांश रेखाओं के बीच में दूरी केन्द्र से उत्तरोत्तर घटती जाती है ।

A map projection in which the plane touches the globe at pole. The meridians are radiating straight lines, and the parallels are concentric circles but the distance between the parallels decreases progressively away from the centre.

ध्रुवीय दिंगंशीय समदूरस्थ - प्रक्षेप

एक मानचित्र प्रक्षेप जिसमें तल ग्लोब को ध्रुव पर स्पर्श करता है । देशान्तर रेखाएं अरीय सीधी रेखाएं होती है तथा अक्षांश रेखाएं समदूरी पर शुद्ध माप पर खिंची सकेन्द्री वृत होती है। इस प्रक्षेप पर केन्द्र से दूरी वास्तविक रहती है तथा दिशांए भी शुद्ध रहती है।

A map projection in which the plane touches to globe at the pole. The meridians are radiating straight lines, and the parallels are concentric circles drawn at correct distance and are equally spaced. Inthis projection the distance is true from the centre and directions are also true.
