Isometric block

सममितीय खण्डारेख

एक प्रकार का खण्डारेख जिसकी रचना एक ऊर्ध्वाधर तथा दो मुक्त रूप से चुने गए अक्षों पर की जाती है । इस खण्डारेख में दूरियां अक्षों की दिशा में ही रही रहती हैं अन्य सभी दिशाओं में वे विकृत हो जाती हैं तथा पीछे की ओर बड़ी दिखाई देती है । इसे आइसोमितीय ब्लाक आरेख या आइसोमितीय आरेख भी कहते हैं ।

A type of block diagram developed along one vertical and two freely chosen axes. In such diagrams, distances are true only in the directions of axes, in all other directions they are distorted and appear to be highly exaggerated at the back. It is also known as isometric block diagram or isometric diagram.

जब किसी वर्णमात्री मानचित्र के मात्रात्मक क्षेत्रीय वितरण को त्रिविमीत्र रूप में प्रदर्शित किया जाता है तब उसे सममितीय वर्णमात्री मानचित्र कहते हैं । ऐसे मानचित्र क्षेत्रीय विभिन्नताओं को अधिक स्पष्ट करते हैं ।

When the quantitative areal distributers is shown stereographically on a particular choropleth map, then it is known as isometric choropleth map. Such maps show the real differentiation quite distinctly

त्रिभुजालेख

एक ऐसा आलेख पत्र जिसमें दो विकर्णो तथा उर्ध्वाधर रेखाओं द्वारा समत्रिभुज बने होते हैं । इन पर बनाए गए खण्डारेख संदर्शी प्रतीत होते हैं ।

A type of graph paper with twp principal exes (Vertical and two diagorals.) Thus dividing the surface into equilateral triangles. This can be used in producing simple pseudo perspective block diagrams.
