Centrogram

केंद्र - आरेख

किसी क्षेत्र में किसी वस्तु वितरण के केन्द्र को दर्शाने वाला आरेख जो समयानुसार केन्द्र की बदलती स्थिति प्रदर्शित करता है ।

A diagram which shows the centre of some distribution in an area. Such diagram exhibits the changing position of the centre according to time.

चेन, चरीब

माप का एक उपकरण जिसका उपयोग भूसर्वेक्षण मे एक इकाई के रूप मे किया जाता है । ये कई प्रकार के होते हैं जेसे - गन्तर जरीब, इंजीनियर जरीब तथा मीटर जरीब आदि । प्रथम 22 गज या 66 फुट की हो ती है और 100 कड़ियों में विभक्ति होती है । द्वितीय 100 फुट लम्बी होती है जिसकी प्रत्येक कड़ी एक फुट की होती है । तृतीय 10, 20 और 25 मीटरों की लम्बाईयों में होती है । प्रायः 90 मीटर की चेन अधिक उपयोग में आती है ।

An instrument for measurement that is used in surveying as an unit. They are of serveral types for example Gunter Chain. Engineer Chain and Meter Chain etc. The first is of 22 yards or 66 feet and is divided into 100 links. The second is 100 feet long, the link is 1 foot each. The third is 10, 20 and 25 meters long. Generally 90 meters long chain is used.

क्षेत्ररंजित मानचित्र, कोरो क्रोमैटिक मानचित्र

एक प्रकार का वितरण मानचित्र जिसमें रंगों या आभाओं द्वारा ऐसे वितरण (भू - उपयोग, मृदा तथा उद्योग) प्रदर्शित किए जाते ह जिनसे मात्रा का बोध नहीं होता । संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका मे यह वर्ण - चप्पा मानचित्र (कलर पैच मैप) के नाम से पुकारा जाता है ।

A type of distribution map in which distribution (landuse, soil and industry) is shown by colours or tints which do not give the idea of quantity. It is known as colour patch map in U.S.A.
