To commit suicide; to destroy oneself. Sunī Sunāī bāt ke pīchee tāī ne apnā āpā taj dyā Wom. Kahānī. Āpe se bāhar ho'nd, v.n. To be transported with rage or pleasure; to fall I nto a passion; to be unable to control oneself; to be beside oneself.

āpā-dhā'pī, āp'u-hī āp, āpam-dhāp. Self; selves; each for himself. 1. Apā āpī sab hauāīl hā, achchhā, pahle tūhīṅ lā, ham na leb. Meg. Wom. There, you care only for yourselves. Selfishness; self-love; self - seeking. PHR. A regard for number one. 1. Baṛī āpā dhāpī hai, jo hai, apnā-hī muṅh jhulastā hai. Wom. It is all one great rush for self, each one striving only to fill his own mouth.! (may it burn). 2. Sab meṅ āpā dhāpī hai. We are all for self. 3. Apam dhāp kārā kar bīte. jo pahle māre, so jite. Self with self, clatter of arms, Who strikes first, wins. ā'pā-dhāpīpaṛ'nā v.n. To be deeply engaged in schemes or exertions i n one's own interest. ā'pam-dhāpkar'nā, To look to one's own interest.
