Tir. Go'dhan, E.n.f. A ceremony observed on the seventeenth of Kātik, when five or eight women of the neighbourhood stand in a circle and pound rive or bricks, while they sing and curse their brothers in the belief that their lives will be lengthened there by. They finish by pricking their tongues with thorns. (Behar).
